Testimonials never stopped being important, but only the right kind of testimonial will really get the job done. A bad testimonial, overly transparent or unencouraging, can even do more harm then good. Fortunately, Derek Halpern illustrates a framework for what he calls “the perfect testimonial”. Rather than spouting praise, a perfect testimonial identifies the problem that prospective customers are dealing with and why your product solved that problem.
