Amazon, Whole Foods, and the Future of the (Old) New Economy

We’ve all heard the big news. Amazon bought Whole Foods for the small price of ~14 billion dollars. Inevitably, we have to ask the big question: what are they planning to do with the ubiquitous supermarket chain? Bill Taylor of HBR shares his take on that question as well as the broader implications of this acquisition on the economy as a whole.
